She was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951. Linda began creating art as a child and became interested in photography when she received a camera for her fifth birthday. Linda became fascinated with portraiture and worked in a relative's portrait studio as a child. She enjoyed her summer job producing hand colored portraits using oil paint and developed pictures in the studio's darkroom as well.
Linda moved to Texas as a teenager and later studied fine art and applied graphic arts as well as creative writing.
She is a supporter of women's rights and LGBTQ rights.
The artist works in a variety of media which includes oil and acrylic paint, colored pencil, and charcoal. She also creates her art using mixed media.
The artist still lives in Texas near Dallas.
